Massage is a wonderfull relaxing experience; the stress of the teen years is higher now than it has ever been.  Kids juggle school, sports, chores, mean kids, bullying, social lives, acne, peer pressure, body changes and about a hundred or so other stressors. Massage can help reduce that stress, and help your teen relax into being his/her best self!

Teens have different emotional and physical needs than adults do.  Their bones, tissues, and muscles are growing much faster than an adult’s does. Teens physically need more sleep than adults; they may not be able to get that sleep due to school, home, or extracurricular activities.  That reduces the body’s ability to rest and repair itself, as this happens best during sleep periods.

The benefits of massage are well documented, among them relief of muscle tension, lowered stress hormones, decreased depression, increased sense of relaxation, improved immune function, and even a heightened ability to concentrate.

In the competitive world of youth sports, peak performance is key.  Massage improves circulation and eases tension, which are key components in peak muscle and body performance. Your teenager might play organized sports like football, basketball, baseball, soccer, track and swim.  Or perhaps he or she is a competitive dancer or cheerleader. We have the experience and training your teen needs for his/her sports performance. We can help your child prevent injuries, heal from injuries, and improve their sports performance.

As a father of two young boys I know the many emotional and physical challenges our young kids endure. I also understand the importance of safety and trust when working with young kids. Therefore it is my goal to work with you to create the best environment to help your kiddos relax and overcome any emotional or physical obstacles they are experiencing.

  • It is industry standard to get a signed consent form from the minor’s parent or guardian. Parents are also required to stay in the room during the massage
